The Villa is located in a stunning position three miles from the charming old city of Como, on the Eastern COAST of the lake.  The property is composed of two 18 th century mansions that in the early nineteenth century were restored by famous ballet dancer Maria Taglioni. At the beginning of 1980 the current owner started a major renovating operation, leaving to both mansions the exquisite taste of old times, where the romantic atmosphere of the lake and the fine antique furniture perfectly combine with the most advanced technology. Both villas develop on three floors and have delightful terraces facing the water. Fully equipped kitchens, comfortable dining and sitting rooms with Cotto Lombardo flooring and frescoed ceilings, marble finishes in all en suite baths, restored old pieces of furniture combined with fashion materials complete the rooms, together with an amazing view of the lake.  All of this will make your stay at Villas Maria and Serena simply unforgettable.

The two houses are connected by a sheltered walking path adorned with terracotta statues lined in an underground passage carved in rock on the rear of the garden.

200 mts from the main entrance is a beautiful panoramic swimming pool surrounded by old trees, while the park is suitable for nice long walks.
