Casale Silvia is a two-houses property, newly restored and designed to meet different needs, from singles to couples, as well as parties up to 18. It perfectly matches the atmosphere of an old farmhouse with the comfort of the newly renovated environment. The owners had visited and lodged in many comfortable homes, castles and country residences throughout the world in order to create a welcoming and cozy environment, carefully maintained and surrounded by landscapes of rare beauty.

The property sits on a hilltop of Siena’s Clay Hills, in the heart of the "Crete Senese", about 27 kilometers south of Siena and 3 kilometers from the medieval village of "Buonconvento", one of the 100 most beautiful villages of Italy. Inside a natural reserve with wild boars, hares, deer, porcupines, pheasants and various types of birds, Casale Silvia offers spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The main house is divided in two wings, and develops on two floors.
The left wing has an entrance, a small welcome area plus, on the left, a spacious double living room with fire place and SAT TV, a double bed room and a bath. The second floor of the left wing is reserved to the owners. On the right, one large fully equipped kitchen with many items, baking oven, espresso coffee maker, double fridge, dishwasher and large dining table where, upon request, it is possible to have breakfast served in the morning. Also upon request it is possible to order dinner or light meals for guests who may sometimes lack the motivation to eat in the local restaurants. From the kitchen a large French window gives access to the patio, ventilated by pleasant breezes, and to the salt-water swimming pool, both of which offer an incredible view of the hills.

The right wing of the main house is composed of a communal space with large fireplace, stereo system, satellite television, and kitchen for those interested in preparing their own meals, in which case guests can help themselves with the delicious organic produce of the garden. Upon request, barbecue facilities are also available. On the second floor, accessible from an outdoor stair, there are two triple rooms and four double rooms, all with private baths and very comfortable and spacious, with large sinks and showers.

The second house, "the old hay", has also been renovated and equipped with a large communal area with fireplace and table tennis. On the second floor there is a loft sleeping 2/4 people, with one large double bedroom, one bath with shower, a living room with sofa bed, and a kitchenette.

Casale Silvia is in a strategic position for the complete enjoyment of Tuscany and its splendor, the great medieval Tuscan cities, the abbeys of Monte Oliveto, Sant’Antimo and San Galgano; wine visits to estates producers; cooking lessons from locals who know the secrets of traditional Italian cuisine.
